THIS IS BOB"S RAW, UNCENSORED OPINION.

I feel that television has gone far from the black and white. However, the content and of what people view as entertainment as decreased a ton. The cartoons they show for kids are plain stupid compared to the Powerpuff girls and original Scooby Doo, that I watched when I was a kid. The jokes don't make any sense, and story lines for sit coms are used over and over again. Content that used to be for adults for slowing been mirrored in tv shows for younger generations. PG shows are showing kids almost cursing and characters in shows for teens being bleeped every 5 seconds. Basically, it is very hard for me to find a good tv show to watch these days.

What did you watch last night?

If you had a penny for every time someone said, "Did you watch such-a-such a show last night?" ,  then you would be very, very rich.

When I am chit-chating to others about the usual ( politics, current news, etc.) , usually a least one person will say ,"Did you see.......last night?" Then we end up talking about the main characters in the tv show, most we think they are going to do next, what we think about them, stuff like that. I am not a tv addict , but I have been taking a Video Class recently and we talk a lot about television and how it works. The more we talk about it , the more I am interested. So, I figured," I watch tv all the time, so why not write about tv shows and whatnot and review it?" I really like to critque tv shows, and commericals too.

1.  American Idol : 8th Season 
   With some tv shows, you wish that the seasons and story line would go on forever. Unfortunately, eventually all tv shows (good or bad) must come to an end. For some strange reason, the creators of American Idol do not ( and still do not) understand that. American Idol first aired on June 11, 2008 in America. The main goal of American Idol is find the best singer in the country through a series of auditions, performances, and eliminations. The contestants are judged by three judges : Randy Jackson, Paula Abul, and Simon Cowell. I have watched American Idol for 5 out of 7 seasons, and I feel that the show should not of continued to air after the 5th season. I do not think that American Idol is terrible , but I think the auditions are ridiculous. Also, in the end, people begin to see good singers go because of their personality, not because of their singing quality.This year American Idol will be back for their 8th season, with a fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi. I may be alone on this, but I definitely am not watching American Idol this year.
